All About Spelling My Half Way Through the Program Review Review of the All About Spelling Level 1 My Background I have taught reading, writing, math, organization, and social/emotional/behavioral in a special education classroom for 4 years. For the 2017-2018 school year I decided to work part time and home school my 7 year old son who has autism.   Which sent me into the world of home school curriculum.   How we Found All About Spelling My son has grown in the area of reading with the All About Reading program so I was excited to see that they also had a spelling program. The website recommended starting the spelling program once Level 1 of The All About Reading program was completed. I decided to start the spelling program when my son was about 75% of the way through the reading program. The timing was perfect, I think he could have even began it sooner. He has had previous spelling instruction so it was an easy transition for him. What I Pu

50% Income Decrease How We Survived My Top 5 Money Saving Tips 1. No Cable -  We asked our internet and cable provider to take off our on demand cable service. This took $70-$100 off of our bill and that money went to other things. We have Nextflix ($10 a month) that we can watch on our TV and our family enjoys watching YouTube together. 2. No Name Brand Clothing -  This was a huge change for me. I enjoyed buying my 8 year old son clothes from Mini Boden and Tea collection because the quality was amazing. I cut out name brand clothing for my son and replaced it with cheaper options form Target and Old Navy. The only exception to this rule is that I do buy name brand jackets and shoes for my son (which are great for resale on eBay). His clothing expenses went from $400-$800 per season to $150-$300 per season. 3. No Eating Out -  When I was working full time it was really convenient to pick up fast food a few times a week and we would go out to a sit
